Ori Oresteia
he dramaturgy of "Ori Oresteia" was created by Viviane Juguero based on the original conception of director Jessé Oliveira. He associated Afro-Brazilian culture with the tragedies "Agamemnon," "The Coephoras," and "The Eumenides" by Aeschylus. The intention of director Jessé Oliveira was for the audience to understand the play in two layers: on one, the narrative of the trajectory of Orestes' family, on the other, the path of the black culture in the West. Juguero's dramaturgy presents the elaboration of connective structures, the creation of songs, and the reworking of scenes and dialogues, inspired by the original works and following the director's design guidelines. The show performed at Theatro São Pedro and Teatro Renascença, in 2016, in Porto Alegre. The play was studied nationwide in the course Black Dramaturgy, taught by Dione Carlos, on the Itaú Cultural digital platform, in 2018 and 2019.
